i saw the fingers tapping like spiders on your desk, the palms slapping down, a nervous tic. your metronome swings back and forth and you cant sit still youre afraid of things i cant understand. you dont think too hard because its confusing to have an opinion, harder to express it. your hair is on your face and you look down, scar tissue from when you couldn't even bare to have people touch you. finding out about yourself is more interesting than even your beloved books, more confusing than any mystery. a problem is what you hope for, reasons why you cant or wont.
